The play is set in the early sixties in a high value house with big grounds and a swimming pool, owned by a retired Royal Air Force officer and his wife and which employs a gardener and a maid. Things start to happen when the son brings his fiancée home to meet the parents. This play won the Royal Air Force Theatrical Association play-writing competition in 1985.

The cast members are all people associated with the show during Glynn’s time on it which, starting on 9 December 1998 and finishing on 25 June 1999, is still the longest stint for any contestant. Glynn uses this pantomime to display his knack for rewriting lyrics to popular songs.
